ARPC farewells Member Karen Payne

Ian Carson AM, ARPC Chair, has thanked Karen Payne for her service to ARPC, following completion of her term as Member on 4 October 2020. She was first appointed to the ARPC Board on 5 October 2017.

In May 2019, during her term with ARPC, Karen Payne was also appointed as the Inspector-General of Taxation and Taxation Ombudsman for a five-year term.

Mr Carson said: “Karen Payne has been a committed Member of the ARPC Board, which benefited from her accounting, legal and taxation expertise. She was also a Member of ARPC’s Audit & Compliance Committee.”

“On behalf of the ARPC Board, I would like to thank Karen Payne for her service and deep engagement with ARPC,” Mr Carson said.

Dr Christopher Wallace, ARPC CEO, said: “Karen Payne was very interested in, and supported, the performance and operations of ARPC and she will be missed.”
