ARPC appoints new Chief Financial Officer

The Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC) today announced that Mr Laurence Daly will commence with ARPC on 17 January 2011 in the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Mr Daly has 30 years of experience in both the public and private sector. His most recent roles include Chief Financial Officer of the Australian Sports Commission and Financial Controller for the Department of Health and Ageing. Mr Daly is a Certified Practising Accountant and is also an Associate member of the Australian Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries and the Australian Chartered Institute of Company Managers.

Mr Daly replaces Mr Trevor Ament who leaves APRC to become General Manager of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. Mr Ament has been with ARPC since July 2004.

Chief Executive Officer, David Matcham said he was pleased to welcome Mr Daly on board and looks forward to working closely with him to build on the solid foundations created by Mr Ament.
