ARPC Annual Report 2025-26

Annual Report 2025–26

This year’s report highlights our continued commitment to improving the accessibility and affordability of insurance for the Australian community through the terrorism and cyclone reinsurance pools.

The report outlines our strategic priorities, operational performance, financial results, and stakeholder engagement activities. It also details our 2026–30 strategy, which provides the foundations for continued delivery of our legislative objectives.

ARPC had 226 terrorism insurers who paid $413 million in terrorism reinsurance premiums.

The cyclone pool had 22 insurers who paid $679 million in cyclone reinsurance premiums. These insurers cover over 3.2 million cyclone-exposed buildings between them (across residential home, strata and SMEs), the majority being residential properties.
