Tropical Cyclone Vince update

You may have seen that the Bureau of Meteorology (Bureau) named Tropical Cyclone (TC) Vince, that formed in the Indian ocean on 3 February 2025. It is the fourth cyclone to be named for the 2024/25 cyclone season in the Australian region.
TC Vince developed well south of the Cocos (Keeling) Islands and It is forecast to continue moving towards the west southwest out of the Australian region on Tuesday. No direct impacts are expected at the Cocos (Keeling) Islands. As such, ARPC has not received a notification from the Bureau, and therefore will not be declaring TC Vince as a Cyclone Event under the Terrorism and Cyclone Insurance Act 2003.
