Tropical Cyclone Paul update

12 April 2024

You may have seen that the Bureau of Meteorology (Bureau) named Tropical Cyclone (TC) Paul, that formed in the far northern coral sea on 11 April 2024. It is the eighth cyclone to be named for the 2023/24 cyclone season in the Australian region.

TC Paul formed well off the Queensland coast and is not likely to impact the Australian mainland or territories. As such, ARPC has not received a notification from the Bureau, and therefore has not declared TC Paul as a Cyclone Event under the Terrorism and Cyclone Insurance Act 2003.

For the latest information, you can refer to the Bureau’s Tropical Cyclone 7 Day Forecast (bom.gov.au).

Upcoming change to PACE Login – Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

In November, ARPC will introduce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to the PACE portal. This additional layer of protection helps safeguard your data from unauthorised access and aligns with best practices for secure digital environments.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll provide step-by-step guidance to help you set up your preferred MFA method.

Our team is here to support you throughout this transition. If you have any questions, please contact our team at [email protected]
