Tropical Cyclone Olga update
8 April 2024
The Bureau of Meteorology (Bureau) named Tropical Cyclone (TC) Olga on 6 April 2024. It is the seventh cyclone to be named for the 2023/24 cyclone season in the Australian region.
TC Olga is well off the Western Australian coast and is not likely to impact the Australian mainland or territories. As such, ARPC has not received a notification from the Bureau, and therefore has not declared TC Olga as a Cyclone Event under the Terrorism and Cyclone Insurance Act 2003.
