Tropical Cyclone Narelle Reintensified

As notified by the Bureau of Meteorology (Bureau), on 25 March 2026 at 7:43 AM (AEDT), ARPC wishes to advise that the following cyclone has reintensified and a new cyclone event has begun as a Declared Cyclone Event for the purposes of the Terrorism and Cyclone Insurance Act 2003. A copy of the declaration is available here.

Please refer to the date and time when the cyclone reintensified, as notified to ARPC by the Bureau. This marks the start date and time of the claims period for the reintensified cyclone event.

For clarity, the reintensified cyclone is treated as a separate claims event, distinct from the Tropical Cyclone Narelle event that began on 17 March 2026 and ended on 24 March 2026, in accordance with the Act.
