Tropical Cyclone Anggrek update

Following the declaration of Tropical Cyclone Anggrek (TC Anggrek) on 15 January 2024, the Bureau of Meteorology (Bureau) has updated their advice. On 25 January 2024 at 2:47pm (AWST), the Bureau advised that TC Anggrek was on the western boundary of the Australian region and moving further west outside of the Bureau’s area of responsibility, as a Tropical Cyclone.

ARPC continues to track TC Anggrek and will declare the end of this Declared Cyclone Event once notified by the Bureau. Notifications will be published in the Cyclone Declarations section of ARPC’s website.
