Reintensification of Tropical Cyclone Narelle Ends

Tropical Cyclone Narelle Reintensified ends

As advised by the Bureau of Meteorology (Bureau), on 28 March 2026 at 10:34 AM (AEDT), ARPC wishes to advise that the following reintensified cyclone has ended as a declared cyclone event for the purposes of the Terrorism and Cyclone Insurance Act 2003. A copy of the declaration is available here.

Please refer to the End date and time of the reintensified cyclone, as notified to ARPC by the Bureau. Please note that the Claims Period for Eligible Losses will end 48 hours after the declared reintensified Cyclone End date and time, as noted below.

For clarity, the reintensified cyclone is treated as a separate claims event, distinct from the Tropical Cyclone Narelle event that began on 17 March 2026 and ended on 24 March 2026, in accordance with the Act.

Note: Insurance customers (policyholders) should contact their insurance company/provider.
