Dr Christopher Wallace, Chief Executive of Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC), has announced a new appointment to the ARPC senior executive team.

Ms Janice Nand has been promoted to a new position of General Counsel on the ARPC senior executive team. Ms Nand joined ARPC in February 2019 as Senior Manager, Governance, Compliance and Board Secretariat.

“I welcome Janice to the senior executive team”, said Dr Wallace. “As General Counsel Janice brings a valuable legal skillset to the senior executive team which will strengthen our organisational governance and leadership,” he said.

Ms Nand joined ARPC from the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services industry where she worked as a Director, Report. Before her role with the Royal Commission, she worked as a Partner with HWL Ebsworth Lawyers in Canberra and with Sparke Helmore Lawyers in Sydney in addition to the role of Country Counsel with Boeing in Sydney. Janice holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Master of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.
